* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN ARIZONA...INCLUDING
THE FOLLOWING AREAS...NORTHERN GILA COUNTY...COCONINO
PLATEAU...EASTERN MOGOLLON RIM AND LITTLE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY
IN COCONINO COUNTY...LITTLE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY IN APACHE
COUNTY...LITTLE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY IN NAVAJO COUNTY AND WHITE
MOUNTAINS...OAK CREEK AND SYCAMORE CANYONS...WESTERN MOGOLLON
RIM...YAVAPAI COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND YAVAPAI COUNTY VALLEYS AND
BASINS.

* FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON

* THIS FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS FOR AREAS ROUGHLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 40 IN NORTHERN ARIZONA.

* DEEP MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL MOVE INTO NORTH CENTRAL ARIZONA FROM
THE SOUTH ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME
STORMS TO PRODUCE RAINFALL GREATER THAN ONE INCH IN LESS THAN
ONE HOUR...AS WELL AS LONG TERM MODERATE RAINFALL.

* ON THURSDAY THE REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM ODILE ARE EXPECTED TO
MOVE THROUGH SOUTHERN ARIZONA...THOUGH THE EXACT PATH AND TIMING
ARE NOT CLEAR. ALL ARE URGED TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND
FLASH FLOOD WATCHES FOR CHANGES IN TIMING AND OR AREAL COVERAGE
AS THIS EVENT NEARS.
