DEVELOPING: Gov. Perdue in Wilmington today, expected to announce 'Iron Man 3'

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue is in Wilmington Thursday to make an economic development announcement. It's largely speculated that it will be the arrival of the latest installment of the Iron Man film series, "Iron Man 3."
The film, starring Robert Downey Jr., is expected to attract other stars like Scarlett Johansson and Don Cheadle, according to industry reports.
Governor Perdue will be joined by Mayor Bill Saffo and other business leaders for the 2:30 p.m. announcement at Screen Gems studios.
