Someone reboot the calendar – it seems to be stuck on February even though temperatures will reflect what we see in mid April. I doubt too many will complain as not only will we have a pair of really nice days, we will follow it up with good rain chances by Friday.
Warm air surges in as does low level moisture throughout the day today into tomorrow with our highs moving into the upper 60s and low 70s. This is ahead of a sharp cold front that could produce some thunderstorms and gusty conditions during the middle of the day Friday. The Storm Prediction Center has us under the ‘slight' threat for severe weather as we move into the day Friday with the biggest threat the potential for straight line winds and perhaps a ‘spin up' tornado. The colder air behind this system will only knock temperatures down to where they are suppose to be for this time of year. Look for highs in the upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s for Saturday and Sunday with plenty of sunshine.
