Money in a Minute: Free coupons can often be found in free ad papers
Hunting down a Sunday paper can sometimes be a headache, but sometimes you can find free coupons in your local ad paper.
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Hunting down a Sunday paper can sometimes be a headache, but sometimes you can find free coupons in your local ad paper.
We've been telling you that if you want to save money, the best place to start is getting that Sunday paper because that's where all the best coupons are found. And, remember, if you can, try to buy two Sunday papers because that can sometimes lead to more savings during Buy 1 Get 1 Free sales.
Before you leave the grocery store, see about your local ad paper. Sometimes, coupon inserts will be inside. Typically, they come at the end of a given month.
For example, we found a free Proctor and Gamble insert in a paper called Ad Pak Weekly. If you're not familiar with Proctor and Gamble, those are the makers of things like Tide and Pampers—many household goods.
It's always great to get free coupons! But remember, just take a couple of inserts. Coupon etiquette is to leave something for someone else.
