WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Widespread showers and even a few embedded thunderstorms will keep Monday wet across southeastern North Carolina as a broad area of low pressure marches north.
As we bring in October, warm temperatures and very humid air will keep things damp, with showers likely throughout the day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
High temperatures will push into the mid 80s the next couple of days before falling as we head into the weekend. A cold front will push in from the west bringing cooler temperatures and drier air as we head into the late work week and weekend.
