UNCW Chancellor attends White House education forum - WSFX - FOX Wilmington, NC

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WECT) - UNCW Chancellor Gary Miller is at the White House today with other chancellors and presidents of universities to talk about higher education.

The U.S. Department of Commerce is hosting a forum entitled, "The Innovative and Entrepreneurial University: Higher Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Focus."

The forum includes panel discussions on innovations involving students and faculty, technology and how a university plays a role in economic development in a region.

Miller joins leaders from Northeastern University, Texas A&M University, Howard University, the University of Minnesota, Clemson University and N.C. State University.
