WILMINGTON, NC (WSFX) – Now's a good time to catch a cold! Okay, not really, but there are some really good deals on cold medicine.
We went to CVS and Harris Teeter this week.
At CVS, we spent about .49 each for Robitussin. Thanks to Delly's Deals for this great find. You may not have a cold now, but chances, you'll have one later. So… prepare! You do need two coupons from last Sunday's newspaper, September 30th to make this deal work. You use 2 $3 off coupons in the Red Plum insert. Basically, you buy two Robitussins for $3.98 out of pocket, and then you get $3 back in Extra Care Bucks to use in the store on a future purchase. You can do that "future" purchase right there, too. I personally had ECBS left over from last week, so I paid less out of pocket.
At Harris Teeter, we got a bunch of great things, including 50-cent organic spinach!
--Earthbound spinach, reg. 3.99. On sale BOGO. Paid 50-cents. We used a 75-cent printable coupon that doubled.
--Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats, reg. 3.69. Paid 45-cents. On sale BOGO. We used a 70-cent printable coupon that doubled.
--Poise pantiliners, reg. 2.59. On sale 1.99. Paid FREE. We had a printable coupon for $2 off.
--Wholly Salsa, reg. 2.49. On sale at Mayfaire Harris Teeter location for 1.25. Paid 25-cents. We had a coupon from a tearpad that was once placed near the product at the store.
--Sorrento string cheese, reg. 4.99. On sale BOGO. Paid 1.00 each. We had a coupon for $3 off 2. This coupon was from the 8/26 newspaper in the Red Plum insert.
--Birds Eye Streamfresh Frozen vegetables, reg. 1.79. On sale 1.33. Paid .33. We had a printable coupon for 50-cents.
We share these deals with the best intentions. Please take other considerations into factor, such as regional taxes, store locations, etc. If you have information to share, send it to us!
