WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Hundreds of men, women and even an Olympic athlete took steps to fight breast cancer Saturday.
The annual Run for the Ta-Ta's took place in front of TrySports in Mayfaire.
More than 600 runners laced up their shoes to help out the Pink Ribbon Project, a local foundation that helps uninsured women get mammograms.
Two-time Olympian Anthony Famiglietti ended up winning the race. He was actually just in town for a visit, but when he heard about the race, he wanted to support the important cause.
