Lady Patriots heading back to Dublin

Randolph-Southern is going back to the GISA softball semifinals.

After finishing state runner-up in Class A last year, the Lady Patriots swept Trinity Christian in the 2nd round of the AA state playoffs this year.

Randolph-Southern won game 1 5-2 and took game 2 10-4 over the Lady Crusaders.

Crisp Academy defeated LaGrange 3-2, 22-14 to also advance to the AA final four.

In AAA, Tiftarea beat Stratford 4-1 to force a third and deciding game in that series.

Stratford though wins the decisive game 3 to advance to the AAA semifinals.

In the GHSA, Spalding scores seven runs in the 7th to beat Worth County 7-0 in the third and final game of the AAAA first round playoff series.
