WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – You can expect a very pleasant day to start your weekend, but it will be breezy. Winds are expected to continue out of the northeast at about 10-15 mph gradually subsiding tonight. Mostly sunny skies today with highs in the low 70s and lows will tumble into the low 50s.
A cold front is situated to our west and will inch closer to the Carolinas by tomorrow. Warmer temperatures are expected along with partly cloudy skies, highs near 80 and lows near 60.
Right now the frontal boundary is expected to move through the Carolinas late Monday increasing our chance of showers and storms. Temperatures will climb into the low 80s with lows in the upper 50s.
