Randolph-Southern reaches GISA finals - WSFX - FOX Wilmington, NC

With the GISA condensing softball from three to two classifications, Randolph-Southern found themselves the smallest school in AA.

That didn't stop last year's Class A state runner-up team from getting back to the state championship series in a higher classification.

Randolph-Southern will play Flint River for the AA state title next Saturday in Dublin.

Randolph-Southern beat Piedmont 3-1 and then lost to Flint River.

Randolph-Southern then beat Piedmont 5-4 to advance to the championship series.

Crisp Academy lost to Flint River and then was eliminated by Piedmont.
