Even while playing a man down the Darton men's soccer team would not be denied a GCAA Championship beating South Georgia College 2-1. The Cavs were trying to sweep the tournament championship after the Lady Cavs topped Georgia Perimeter 4-0.
Darton jumped out to a 2-0 lead before halftime. The second half saw South Georgia in attack mode. The Tigers were able to tie the game with 15 minutes when Alloy Buckle sent a rocket to the back of the net from 25 yards out. The Cavs were able to hang on for the win. The victory continues a historic season for the nation's number one ranked team.
Darton will now prepare for the national tournament which it will host at the Darton Soccer Complex beginning on November 12th.
