The Georgia offense lost another key offensive weapon with receiver Marlon Brown suffering a knee injury in the second half of Saturday's win against Ole Miss.
A statement from UGA Sports Communications says Brown suffered an injury to the ACL in his left knee.
The senior from Memphis, Tennessee will need surgery and is out for the rest of this season.
UGA team doctors believe Brown should make a complete recovery and could resume playing football at the professional level.
It is a big blow for the UGA offense that lost receiver Michael Bennett to a knee injury in practice before the South Carolina game one month ago.
5th ranked Georgia plays at Auburn Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The Bulldogs clinch the SEC East with a win over the Tigers.
An Auburn win gives the east title to Florida.
