WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Hundreds were able to stretch their dollar this weekend, with help from the Junior League of Wilmington. The organization hosted the 59th annual Bargain Sale, selling everything from golf clubs, to baby cribs to lots and lots of clothing for all ages.
Organizers say it gives them the funds to help out other programs and gives shoppers a great bargain at the same time.
All of the money raised will go towards the league so it can continue with volunteer efforts in the community, including mentoring programs and programs with DC Virgo.
As of Friday night, they raised $10,000.
All of the items not purchased, were donated to the Salvation Army and other organizations.
