Dec. 6, 2012, Sarah “The Cheese Lady” Kaufmann, will begin the championship process of carving the Carolina Panthers mascot Sir Purr and Harry the Happy Dragon out of two, 640-pound blocks of Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese. Come show support as you witness the unveiling of the mascot carving.
Kaufmann is no amateur to cheese carving; she is a team player who loves to carve mascots, football heroes and local attractions. In November 2011, Sarah exhibited her talents in a Washington, D.C. Harris Teeter by carving a tribute to Wounded Warrior Project™.
Sarah loves to share her passion for cheese, so please visit the Morrocroft Village Harris Teeter to take your picture with Sarah and speak to her about her unique profession while you sample and shop. There will also be a coloring contest for kids. The winner of the contest will be announced at the grand unveiling on Sunday, Dec. 9.

Sarah will be available each day during specified carving hours listed below:
Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 7, 2012: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Carolina Panthers’ Sir Purr will make a special guest appearance on Sat. from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 Grand Unveiling: 11 a.m. – noon
