Georgia Tech opens ACC play Saturday at home against Miami.
It will be the Jackets first conference game in the new McCamish Pavilion.
Ironically, Miami was the opponent in Georgia Tech's final game at Alexander Memorial Coliseum two years ago.
Georgia Tech starts conference play with its best start in non-conference play.
The Jackets fast start has been paced with freshmen like Robert Carter Junior.
The former Thomasville High Bulldog is looking forward to his first ACC game.
"That is one reason why I came to Georgia Tech to play against those caliber of guys. I look forward to doing my against them. Doing everything I have got to help my team win," said Robert Carter, Jr.
"The freshman have given us a huge lift. There is no question about it. As you go into conference play, you have to rely on your upperclassmen and those guys who have been through it," said head coach Brian Gregory.
