LAMAR COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
The Texas Department of Public Safety confirms three people are dead after a plane crash near the city of Glory, that is in Lamar County in north Texas.
The plane took off from Cox Field in Paris, Texas just before 9am and was bound for Austin. Shortly after take-off, the plane was trying to land when it crashed .3 miles from County Road 13850 in Lamar County. Killed in the crash were passengers Michael Bradley and Michael Endo, along with pilot, Rob Thompson.
The plane is a fixed wing single engine Piper with tail number N5339V and is registered to Celtic Bank Special Assets LLC out of Salt Lake City, UT. Celtic Bank has released a statement on the crash. Click here to see the release.
