WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – About 1,000 marine veterans were invited to the convention center in downtown Wilmington Saturday as part of what's called a muster.
Organizers say the muster was a chance for marines who have finished their deployment to figure out what they want to do next.
Marine veterans met with career services representatives, completed job searches and event took tests to figure out their skill levels.
Representatives were also on hand to discuss health care benefits and accept veterans' applications on site.
