WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A mob is taking over part of Wilmington this weekend, ready to get their hands dirty.

The Cape Fear Crop Mob is helping a non-profit group called LINC, or Leading Into New Communities, which rehabilitates former inmates.

Volunteers will clear land around the LINC building to make room for flower and vegetable patches and an area to raise animals like goats and rabbits.

Whatever LINC can harvest will be sold at local farmer's markets.

If you'd like to help head to the LINC building on Division Drive near Wilmington International Airport on Saturday, January 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
