Man charged with breaking and entering after detained by K9 - WSFX - FOX Wilmington, NC

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Wilmington Police Department responded to a breaking and entering in progress, Thursday night, in the 2200 block of Princess Place Dr., according to the WPD.

The suspect, Ronald Sellers, 29, fled on foot, but was physically apprehended by K9 Arko. Sellers was taken into custody and treated and release from NHRMC.

According to officials, Sellers was charged with felony breaking and entering, 2nd degree trespass and resisting arrest. He was also served an outstanding failure to appear warrant.

He is being held in the NHC Jail under a $5,100 secure bond.
