Leland Ladies for Legislative Leadership hosts MLK celebration - WSFX - FOX Wilmington, NC

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - As part of the national day of service, the group Leland Ladies for Legislative Leadership hosted a MLK celebration at the Brunswick County library in Leland.

The goal was to teach students about Martin Luther King Jr. and his role in the civil rights movement.

Organizers said - they created several games for the students to play - so they would be able to be able to remember history in a fun way.
