WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Thousands of patrons stopped by Front Street Brewery Saturday for a
fun-filled day at the 5th annual Mugs
for Jugs event.
Mugs for Jugs is a breast
cancer awareness fundraiser established by The
New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation's Pink Ribbon Foundation.
As one of the biggest celebrations of the
year, those in attendance had the chance to enter raffles
and a silent auction, get dunked a dunk tank, have their picture taken in a photobooth, and even play in a beer pong
tournament. Prizes
for each contest were donated by local organizations.
All proceeds from the event will be
donated to the Pink Ribbon Project in order to provide
care baskets to women recently diagnosed with breast cancer as well as free
mammograms for women who qualify for the program who otherwise could not afford
them.
