DOWNTOWN WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Filming for NBC's hit
show Revolution will be in full swing by next week. Locals should be prepared
to make some changes if you are planning on making a trip downtown.
Water Street between Dock and Orange will be closed Monday
and Orange Street between Front and Water will be closed Tuesday.
Business owners along Water Street expressed some
concerns to the film company and city officials because construction is already
happening on Ann Street.
Business owners said the second closure on Orange Street
would barricade them in and make it impossible for customers to get to their
shops.
More than 200 crew members and extras are expected in the
area on Monday.
Business in the downtown district will remain open during
the shoots.
Crews will also film on Chestnut Street. They will also
have the cameras rolling at the Bellevue Cemetery on Princess Place Drive.
