Another earthquake rattles East Texas

SHELBY COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Another earthquake has rocked East Texas in the Shelby County area.

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a 2.8 magnitude earthquake hit in Timpson around 6:31 a.m. Tuesday. Last Friday, a 4.1 magnitude quake struck in the same area.

This is the eighth earthquake in Shelby County since May of last year.

The Timpson Police Department tells us they have not had any reports of injuries or damage at this time.
