WPD investigates dirtbike accident - WSFX - FOX Wilmington, NC

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a dirtbike accident that happened Tuesday night.

Neighbors say a male in his 20s was riding the dirtbike, which is not allowed on city streets. In addition, he was riding the bike without a helmet and without lights.

The driver made a left from Myrtle Avenue onto Greenville Avenue. Witnesses say he pulled in front of a truck and the truck slammed into him.

He was taken away by EMS.
