CFCC Geology Professor says people shouldn't be worried about me - WSFX - FOX Wilmington, NC

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - According to Geology Professor Phil Garwood, people should not be worried about meteorites as they are part of the solar system.

Professor Garwood, who's known as Dr. Rocks at CFCC, says he had to change today's lesson because of a meteorite that touched down in Europe and a meteorite that's flying over Australia.

He says, the meteorite flying over Australia isn't going to hit anything, but if it did, a city the size of NYC would be damaged.
