GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas man is jailed after threatening his wife with a gun.

29-year-old Joshua Neil Campbell was arrested Friday by authorities at his home in Gregg County.

Investigators say Campbell was intoxicated when he assaulted his wife, threatening her with a gun.

The woman took her son and climbed out of a bedroom window to escape.

Campbell was charged with aggravated assault family violence with a weapon. He's free after posting $10-thousand dollars bond.
