Tyler police looking for suspect in gas station robbery

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Tyler police are looking for the man they say robbed a gas station late Wednesday night.

The robbery happened around 11 o'clock near the intersection of West Gentry Parkway and Parkdale Drive in Tyler.

Police say the man walked into a gas station, threatened the store clerk and then stole the entire cash register, taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect only as an older black male, last seen fleeing the gas station by foot. The teller told police the man did not produce any kind of weapon during the robbery, so police are not sure if the suspect is armed.

At this time, no injuries have been reported.

If you have any information, you're asked to call police immediately.
