RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - The No. 2 leader at the North Carolina Democratic Party has resigned from her post, citing conflict with the party's chairman after they've held their respective posts for just four months.

Nina Szlosberg-Landis of Raleigh emailed the several hundred members of the state party's executive committee Monday night to announce she's stepped down. The Associated Press obtained a copy of the email.

Szlosberg-Landis is a well-known fundraiser in Democratic circles. She wrote that it's become abundantly clear that party donors aren't comfortable with actions of current Chairman Randy Voller of Pittsboro.

Voller has been criticized by some committee members for how he handled the departure of the previous executive director and other intra party transactions. Voller didn't immediately respond to email and text messages seeking comment.
