COLUMBIA, SC (AP) - Another day, another award watch list for South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
The 6-foot-6, 274-pound junior was named to the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list Monday. He was a finalist for the honor last year, which went to Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o.
Clowney has previously been named to watch lists for the Maxwell, Bednarik and Nagurski awards. He had 13 sacks last season and finished sixth in Heisman Trophy balloting and became a consensus All-American selection.
The award voters will cut the watch list to 12 semifinalists later this year. The honor will be handed out on December 11th in Houston.
