WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A familiar face is joining the cast
of FOX's Sleepy Hollow.
John Noble, who is
known for his role as scientist "Walter Bishop" on the FOX show Fringe, will appear in a recurring
guest-starring role on the Wilmington-filmed show.
Noble will appear on the show later in the season.
He will play Henry Parrish, a "kind and reclusive man who
possesses supernatural powers that have the potential to help the series'
protagonist, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison)", according to Sleepy Hollow's Facebook page.
The role is a return to FOX for Noble, as well as a creative
reunion with Sleepy Hollow executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and
Heather Kadin, who also worked on Fringe.
The second episode of Sleepy Hollow, which was filmed in Wilmington, airs on FOX on
Monday, September 23 at 9:00, right before FOX Wilmington News at 10.
