WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The local chapter of the North Carolina Rolling Thunder held a special ceremony tonight for local soldiers listed as Prisoners of War or Missing in Action (POW/MIA).

The ceremony was held as the Wilmington National Cemetery and was expected to bring out over two hundred people. One of those in attendance was local hero Kim Munley.

Munley was one of many who were invited to attend the ceremony and read off the names of those being remembered by loved ones. "I'm 100% in support of the military, I love doing these events," Munley said. "I love advocating for the military, that's my sole purpose in life, for being able to survive what happened back in Nov 5 2009."
