WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - TheatreNOW's newest production is sure to get audiences in the Halloween spirit.

Fright Night brings creepy tales of the Cape Fear region to life with stories inspired by the Ghost Walk of Old Wilmington and classic horror movies.

It promises to be a good time, even for the kids.

"You don't need to leave them in the car," joked actress Penny Kohut. "You're certainly welcome to, but I'd say bring them in. They'll love it. It's not scary, scary, horrible scary. It's scary sort of fun scary."

And the show is sure to get everyone ready for the holiday.

"This is Halloween," said Kohut. "You need to come and get into the spirit of things. Besides that, we all want to keep our jobs or that would be very scary."
