NEW YORK (RNN) - Alabama controlled the game for most of the first half before No. 6 Duke took over and never looked back, beating the Crimson Tide 74-64 in the semifinals of the NIT Season Tipoff.

Alabama (3-2) led the Blue Devils (6-1) by as much as seven points for the first 11 minutes of the game. Duke soon rallied and led at halftime 33-22. After returning to the court, Duke dominated the second half, never losing the lead.
