Since Tuesday, Jan. 7, Katie Frazier has been trying to turn on a faucet and actually get some water out of it.
"You can live without it but …the bathroom situation."
Without running water in her home, Katie had to spend the last couple of days in a hotel.
She went home Saturday to feed Willow, her cat, who thanks to a liter box, doesn't need water like people do.
"I had to go out and buy water," said Frazier.
She was not alone. Many of the residents in her building at the Forest Ridge Apartments have had to buy water to get by and the proof is in the parking lot.
Several plastic gallon containers are lying around in the parking lot and filling up the trash dumpsters.
The management of the apartment complex had a big job to do and now it's done.
Now everyone is hoping Mother Nature's next freeze isn't as frigid as the last one.
