TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Two people were found dead on Thursday in what Tucson Police say appeared to be a murder-suicide in a west side home.

According to Sgt. Pete Dugan, two adults were found with gunshot trauma in the 3100 block of West Vuelta de los Mineros, near West Sweetwater Drive and North Silverbell Road. Police said a weapon was found near the bodies of a married couple who live in the home.

According to police, the couple's daughter, who is in her 20s, lives with them and found their bodies when she came home at about 10 a.m. She had been out of the house since about 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

Tucson Police identified the individuals as 50-year-old Guadalupe Alvarado and 51-year-old Elmer Frisby. Homicide detectives said it appears Frisby shot his wife multiple times before allegedly shooting himself.

Next of kin were notified.
